So i took the Beachcomber out for it’s 1st ride.
(I haven’t been on a bike in 8 years, & it was a ten speed then.)
(I haven’t had a bike with a front basket since I was in 5th grade and had my purple & white Schwinn – stylin!)
It was better than taking a 15 year old out for the 1st time with a driving permit.
I would no sooner get the basket balanced when the people walking would look up with the look of complete horror on their face and move out of the way. 😆

I probably looked like the crash dummy for Ford — bike helmets!! 😏. We didn’t have to wear those when I was a kid.
The best was the expression on the Grandpa’s face as I moved over on the sidewalk…
Sheer horror and then he moved over to the grass.
Best laugh I’ve had at myself in a long time.
It’ll get there.
I should probably just upgrade to a Harley. 😆
